dc.description.abstractAs will be seen, this is a plan developed from the perspective of shared management, reflecting the importance of the autonomy of bearers of cultural elements and of the promotion of inter-institutional coordination to safeguard intangible heritage. With the publication of the Safeguarding Plan of the Traditional Ways of Making Artisanal Minas Cheese in Minas Gerais, Iphan continues to reinforce and consolidate the institutional commitment made by the National Intangible Heritage Program – PNPI, established by Decree nº 3.551/2000 and regulated by Iphan Ordinance nº 200/2016. With the commitment and active participation of bearer associations and partners here involved, what is expected is that this plan will be an effective instrument for the valorisation and preservation of this important Cultural Heritage of Brazil.
